Celebrazioni culturali di al-Awda.

PALESTINE ALOUD - A cultural celebration at The Cadogan Hall, London. 22 October, 7.30pm - Classical, jazz, as well as music from the Palestinian diaspora, performed by John Williams, John Etheridge, Reem Kelani accompanied by Bruno Heinen on Piano, Marwan Abado with Peter Rosmanith, Tala Tutunji, The Choir of London. With words spoken by  Victoria Brittain, Julie Christie, Colin Firth, Kika Markham, Hanan al Sheikh, Corin Redgrave, Juliet Stevenson. Musicians, writers and actors come together for a cultural celebration through music and words in support of Palestine. The performance will be directed by Samuel West. 2008 is the 60th anniversary of the ‘nakba’ (the catastrophe) when thousands of Palestinians were forced to flee their homes in the wake of the establishment of the state of Israel and this concert is dedicated to them.
